Next Auction is up! (Now with more warm feelings of giving!)

During the past several days I have gotten a fantastic amount of positive feedback on my Nintendo shoes! I'd just like to say "Thank You" to all of you who contacted with comments!

I'm writing this post to let everyone know that the first pair of Nintendo All-Star sneakers has been sold at auction and that the second pair is now up for grabs. Take a look here!

This time, I'm donating a portion of the total sale to the non-profit organization Child's Play, a game industry charity dedicated to improving the lives of children with toys and games in a network of over 40 hospitals worldwide! If anyone, whether your a massive corporate entity or a small, yet kind hearted individual, would like to collaborate with me on designing a shoe to be auctioned off to have 100% of its donated to any charity, please contact me. I would go it alone but right now I'm not really at liberty financially to do something like that and I think that it could be pulled off much more successfully with some involvement from someone with a bit more media clout then I currently posses.

First Post : Nintendo All-Stars Kicks

Hi everyone, my name is Cole Ranze, I'm a designer living in the beautiful Delaware River Valley in North East PA. This blog will act as a way to document my newest creative venture, namely painting shoes!

Where some might see a pedestrian sneaker, I see a blank canvas waiting to be tagged up.

My first attempt was done as a birthday present for a friend. They are a pair of Converse All-Stars featuring some of the most beloved characters from Nintendo's lengthly history of video games.
These took me many, many hours to paint and feature 21 different characters from a broad range of games like Super Mario Bros, Zelda, Pokemon and others!

I'm currently auctioning off the first pair in a set of 10 limited edition Nintendo shoes on eBay. You can find them by searching item 220222104559. This is shoe #1 of 10 so act fast if your interesting on getting your hands on a pair!

I'm currently working on my next design and will post it here when its finished!
